"Looking west across Canary Wharf towards the City of London and Westminster!  I was asked to paint this picture by a collector who already had a couple of important originals of mine. So I made a video of the process that you can see on my website here www.colinruffell.com/videos 

The video shows how I use acrylic paints that I apply with brushes and rollers. I love the effect of thick impasto and thin glazes. And of course I love the view looking west across London at sunset showing Tower Bridge and the Shard and the City of London with the River Thames and Westminster. " CR
